Work with Erin

Start with who you’re here for.

Every path below leads to the same place: the capacity to stay clear, stay yourself, and still say the hard thing well. Pick the one that matches where you are right now.

Control feels like the responsible choice

Most of us were taught that control is what keeps things safe. So when the pressure rises, we tighten. We take on more. We clean up quietly behind people who are not cleaning up after themselves.

It works, right up until it costs us the thing we were protecting.

Under pressure the nervous system contracts, and it often takes the words with it. You know what you want to say. In the moment, you cannot reach it.

Power to Care™ interrupts that loop. Not by softening you, and not by handing you a script to read. Instead, it works the state first, so the language becomes available to you. It is an integrative educational framework informed by developmental, affective, and relational neuroscience.

For your team or organization

Bring one shared language into the room, so people stop managing each other and start working together.

To introduce Power to Care to a large group, book a Keynote. For one focused, shared experience with a leader and their team, choose the Leader & Intact Team Session. For lasting change, choose the 6-Session Team Program. Not sure? Book a conversation and we'll work it out together.

Keynotes

Pressure is the common experience of leaders today, and rarely named. In this keynote, Erin Leonty helps audiences understand how humans operate under pressure, why good people slip into patterns they don't choose, and how to lead with more clarity, capacity and care. 45 minutes plus 15 minutes of Q&A.

Ignite Your Pride: Inspiring Courage Through Self Expression: Stories and strategies that empower you to lead with heart in service to yourself, your team, and your community.

Power to Care™: Reaching the Frontline When Inclusion Is Under Pressure: The neuroscience of inclusion for the roughly eighty percent of the workforce who are not at a desk, reframing inclusion as a relational capacity that has to travel from head office to the frontline.

Leader & Intact Team Session

When a team is under pressure, everyone feels it, and few talk about it. This facilitated session (1.5 to 3 hours, set by the leader) gives a leader and up to 15 team members shared language for how pressure shows up in how they work together, and agreement on what they'll do differently. Includes a leader pre-brief and 30-day debrief.

Available from 2027

6-Session Team Program

One session can open a door. Six sessions change how a team works. A leader and their team go through the full Power to Care journey, building shared language, steadier habits and the trust to lead well under sustained pressure. Available from 2027.

For your own leadership

Start with yourself. Most people who bring this into their organization began here.

Power to Care™: Lead Well Under Pressure

A live, facilitated leadership experience with a small group of leaders you have not met. You bring a real situation you are carrying. You leave with a framework you can use in your next hard conversation, not next quarter.

This is right for you if

  • You want to experience the work yourself before you bring it to anyone else
  • You learn by doing and talking, rather than watching
  • You have ninety minutes and a situation already on your mind

Dates and pricing: Both are on the Power to Care™ page.

For Lead Well Under Pressure alumni

1:1 Coaching

Confidential, ongoing coaching and advising for the leader everyone else leans on. We work the state first and the language second, so you have the words when you need them rather than three days later.

This is right for you if

  • You are the one holding it together, and there is no one inside your organization you can think out loud with
  • One relationship or one decision keeps taking up more room than it should
  • You are rehearsing conversations at midnight and still not having them

What this is not: Therapy, or a replacement for it. This is leadership advising: practical, non-clinical, and focused on what you will say and do next.

Availability: Erin holds a small number of these at a time. Fit and scope are settled in the first conversation.

Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need. Erin will give you a number on the first conversation.

Start with a conversation

No charge, no pitch. Tell Erin what is happening and she will tell you honestly whether this is the right work for you, including when it is not, and who else might be a better fit. Plenty of these conversations end with a recommendation and nothing else, and that is a fine outcome.

A few sentences is enough to start. Erin reads every message herself and replies within two business days.

Erin Leonty

Erin Leonty is the founder of Leonty Consulting, now in its tenth year. She is trained in the Neuroscience of Leadership at Harvard Medical School, and she spent more than 25 years inside small, medium, and large global businesses (in technology, mining, and finance, from owner-operated firms to the Fortune 500) with additional experience across the public and nonprofit sectors, before building Power to Care™. She has been on the other side of every situation described on this page.

Work that gives something back

Leonty Consulting Inc. is a social-impact business. A portion of our time, expertise, and profit goes to local and global organizations supporting people experiencing and growing from crisis, including, and not limited to, the Edmonton YWCA, OneThousandWomen, and The HOPE Mission. Mission rates are available to nonprofits and community organizations doing that work.

This is not a campaign. It is how the practice is structured.

Questions

Every session is live, synchronous and facilitated: reflection, paired dialogue and real conversation. Nothing is pre-recorded, and nobody sits back and watches.

No. This is leadership development and advising. It is non-clinical, and it draws on developmental, affective and relational neuroscience to explain what happens to capable people under pressure.

No. The situations described here are recognizable to anyone carrying disproportionate load in a system that depends on them. The work is about relating well across difference.

No. They are independent. Many organizations start privately.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, and available across Canada and internationally for in-person work. Virtual delivery is available everywhere.

It depends on the format, the length, and how many people are involved, so there is no single number to publish. Erin will give you one on the first conversation, not on the third, and not after a proposal process. Open-enrolment sessions are priced publicly on the Power to Care™ page. Mission rates are available for nonprofits and community organizations.

It is twenty minutes to describe what is happening and hear Erin's honest read on it. Some of them end in an engagement; plenty end with a recommendation and nothing more. There is no charge and no follow-up sequence.

Erin reads it herself and replies within two business days. No obligation, and no sequence of sales calls.
